The NFL Draft coming this April 25th, 2019, is always one of the most exciting and important days on the football schedule. It lasts the whole weekend, but the first round is going to be on Thursday, April 25th, and that is the round everyone is really concerned with anyway. The Dolphins currently have one pick in every round, and they have the number 13th pick overall. The Dive Bar on Galt Ocean Mile loves the Dolphins and they want you to come see the Dolphins pick at the NFL Draft on April 25th.
It should be a very exciting day. The Fins need your good luck. So you gotta come down and watch the draft to root them on.
Miami Dolphins 2019 NFL draft order

- Second round, No. 48 (16th pick in round)
- Third round, No. 78 (15th pick in round)
- Fourth round, No. 116 (14th pick in round)
- Fifth round, No. 151 (13th pick in round)
- Sixth round, No. 188 (16th pick in round)
- Seventh round, No. 234 (20th in round), from the Pittsburgh Steelers through the Cleveland Browns
So Who are the Dolphins Thinking of Drafting at Thirteen
There seems to be no doubt that the Fins are looking at a quarterback. Whether they actually pull the trigger in the first round or not is the big question. The hopes are that Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray will be available, but that may be highly unlikely. Murray won the Heisman trophy and is considered the top prospect.
Other quarterbacks that the Dolphins might consider are Dwayne Haskins from Ohio State, Drew Lock from the University of Missouri, and Daniel Jones from Duke University. If the Fins decide to wait for the later rounds and look for value then you have many choices including:
Auburn University’s Jarrett Stidham, University of West Virginia’s Will Grier, Buffalo’s Tyree Jackson, Washington State University’s Gardner Minshew, North Carolina State University’s Ryan Finley, Boise State’s Brett Rypien, and the small school North Dakota State’s Easton Stick.
Why Do the Fins Need a Quarterback
The Fins did sign Ryan Fitzpatrick for their rebuilding situation. They let Ryan Tannehill go, who wound up signing with the Tennessee Titans this offseason. The Tannehill experiment just did not work. It never was going to. You can’t take a wide receiver and turn around and make him a franchise quarterback. The Dolphins tried to do this. Now they move on.
