With the high season of spring breakers and families on vacation soon upon us, we thought we would chat a little about some of Fort Lauderdale’s most popular neighborhoods to visit, experience difference activities, and enjoy night life.
The Dive Bar is located on the Galt Ocean Mile, one of the best spots in Fort Lauderdale, with our location so close to the beach and all the action of Fort Lauderdale, we really can’t blame all of the snowbirds and tourists wanting to come hang out with us South Florida locals for a while.
At The Dive Bar, we absolutely welcome everyone, no matter where you’re from, and find that tourists and locals alike have a mutual affection for the best Fort Lauderdale live music, the best karaoke in South Florida, great daily drink specials, and delicious classic food choices. What more could anyone ask for really?
Popular Fort Lauderdale Neighborhoods To Visit
- Oakland Park Neighborhood: Our personal favorite, as this is where The Dive Bar is located. We are north of downtown Fort Lauderdale, and just north of the other popular Wilton Manors neighborhood. Not far from the ocean, this is a great spot to visit.
- Downtown Fort Lauderdale: Surprisingly cool and metropolitan to some, downtown has made a comeback. You can find everything from the hottest art galleries to trendy coffee shops, as well as great museums such as The Museum of Discovery and Science.
- Lauderdale Beach: What’s often thought of when out-of-towners consider Fort Lauderdale. With a laid-back vibe and long boardwalk along the beach, this is one of the most beachy-feeling areas of town with tons of souvenir shops and beach resorts.
